Preach it. Briiliant post… I have a feeling these kind of parties are going in Chicago, too, in similar neighborhoods that these kids are gentrifying people of color out of. This is not irony It’s people misusing “ironic” humor as a way to justify their cynicism, their self-absoption, their racism. It’s sickening.
